The module aims to prepare us for the first specialist study module in L6. At the end, I hope to have defined a set of principles relating to how I work, a production pipeline that I can easily apply to future projects and a set of theories, oppinions or ideas that I can call my own. I will not focus on a films asthetics without first knowing the story, plot and characters and choose an appropreate style according to them. I guess I could call that mu first principle, though it might change throughout the project.
I hope to find contacts within other networks such as actors and composers that I can collaborate with on projects, be that in a music video for example.
After our class discussion this week I understand the importance of theatre in regards to animation- In performance and acting, In lighting and set design and in staging. Also in regards to contemporaty context and 'breaking the fourth wall'.
